Our goal is to have a potluck dinner every Sunday night at various homes in the neighborhood of Sunnyside. IHReiki* Shinpiden graduates (and their Shinpiden students) get together about once a month in Manhattan for a focused and deep practice together, with optional chat time after at a nearby cafe. It's fun, too (laughing is such a great by-product of being Reiki, isn't it?), but the emphasis is on delving deeply into the classical Japanese practices, especially the Shinpiden-level techniques we don't always get to explore with others as a group. It's a no-judgment zone; each of us starts where we …

… Have you just graduated with an MBA and finding out that your interviewers are telling you that you do not have experience or required skills? These aspirations & thoughts have intrigued me for the past few years. Surprisingly, I had a long career in finance with some of the top Wall Street companies, yet never got exposure to learn a number of business-critical skills. I was always interested in trying to do something on my own but “number-crunching” alone did not empower me to “think” business …
